Introduction
The Learning 2.0 Conference was started in 2007 when organizers at Concordia International School, Shanghai Community International School, Shanghai American School hosted a conference that shifted the model of the traditional conference. Learning 2.0 has always strived to be a conference where the focus is on learning and on what that means in our current technology-rich environments.
Since 2012, the conference has become mobile, moving around the region to Beijing (WAB – 2012) and Singapore (UWCSEA – 2013). Though the conference is supported by ACAMIS and EARCOS , it remains a grassroots organization, being planned and executed by volunteer teacher-leaders from the Asia region.
The Mission
The Learning 2.0 Conference intends to:
- Be different;
- Be social;
- Be a connector;
- Push all participants to learn and to challenge their understanding of learning.
